SAP FI Training for Finance & Accounting Professionals

Hands-on training in SAP's Financial Accounting module — for teams running SAP or preparing for an SAP implementation.

SAP FI is the financial accounting backbone of most SAP implementations, and it runs on its own logic — transaction codes, document structures, and screens that a general ERP overview doesn't cover in depth. This course goes specifically into SAP FI: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting, taught through the actual transactions your team will use day to day.

We cover both classic SAP FI concepts and the S/4HANA and Fiori interface, since most GTA implementations now run on S/4HANA — so what you learn matches what you'll actually see on screen.

What You'll Learn

  • Navigating the SAP environment: transaction codes, menus, and Fiori apps
  • General Ledger (GL) accounting: postings, account groups, and document structure
  • Accounts Payable (AP): vendor master data, invoice processing, and payment runs
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): customer master data, invoicing, and dunning
  • Asset Accounting (AA): asset master records, depreciation, and asset transactions
  • Bank accounting and bank reconciliation in SAP
  • Period-end and year-end closing operations
  • Integration points between SAP FI and SAP CO (Controlling)

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need SAP experience already?

No — this course starts from core navigation and builds up to full FI transactions, so it works for both newcomers and teams refreshing their skills.

Is this the same as your ERP & Finance Systems Fundamentals course?

That course covers ERP concepts broadly across platforms like SAP, NetSuite, and Dynamics. This course goes deeper specifically into SAP FI — the actual transaction codes, screens, and workflows.

Do you cover SAP S/4HANA specifically?

Yes — we cover both classic SAP FI concepts and the S/4HANA and Fiori interface, since most GTA implementations now run on S/4HANA.

Can this run alongside our SAP implementation project?

Yes — this is commonly scheduled ahead of or during a go-live, timed to your project's training window.
